Why WeGlobal Ambassadors?
Conducting survey research on African Americans living around the world presents several methodological challenges. First, there is no list or database of African Americans living abroad. Second, the cost of any one team conducting such broad research is significant. It is impossible for a team of researchers in one city in the United States to find all African Americans around the world. Therefore, one part of our international outreach strategy is to identify WeGlobal Ambassadors in countries and regions of countries. The WeGlobal Ambassador’s main role is to disseminate information about the study and encourage participation in the online survey. We also plan to provide a forum for WeGlobal Ambassadors to share information about what is happening in their city/country with others.
